For this assignment, I had to find two natural objects and combine with a linear element. I chose a yellowish-brown leaf and a brown nut, joining them with a vine. My decision to wrap the leaf around the nut helped create similarity of the two, for when the veins of the leaf and the cracks in the nut are joined together, the eye then is focused on the connected upward movement of the two objects.
Nice color behind your object. Try to avoid harsh flashes. Most likely you will want to include this project in your portfolio later(whether you think so or not), so take good pictures. Don't forget to post your process sketches and/or models. Seeing them will help us grade you in the end.
